Fourth generation farmer James Pullen examines his crop of potatoes at Perrins Hill Farm in Somerset yesterday (Fri). <br />

Harvest is now well underway on the farm and he expects to his 250 acres of potato fields to yield some 4500 tons of product. <br />
<br />
Once harvested the potatoes are brought back to the farm buildings where they are checked, graded and packed into wooden cases each holding just over one ton of spuds. <br />
<br />
They will then be stored over winter before making the journey to supermarket shelves in April.
