Emma Barr at her home in the Queen's Park area of Bournemouth where her teenage daughter, Rosa, managed to capture footage of a man stealing lead from from the roof.

Rosa Barr, 15, secretly recorded the offender from her bedroom window after he climbed up onto the flat roof of an extension.

The man spent several minutes removing bags of roofing lead he was preparing to steal.

Rosa also called mum Emma at work, and she called the police and a neighbour who checked on the house, scaring the thief off.
