A children's soccer coach has invented a solution that stops laces coming undone after getting frustrated by games being stopped so a player could have theirs tied up.
Paula Henley, who runs an under 9s football team, had a lightbulb moment when a child turned up for training with a rubber band wrapped around each boot which held his laces in place.
Mrs Henley, who like many football coaches and parents across Britain regularly has to run onto the pitch to fasten a child's errant laces, went away to develop a foolproof design that appealed to children - and came up with Laceeze.
The product is a robust but brightly-coloured silicone strap that fits over any boot or trainer and has an enlarged centre section which totally covers the laces.
