Thrifty Clive Serrell is still driving his Ford Sierra 32 years after buying it.

Clive paid £17,000 for the 1988 Sierra 4x4 estate that he has used as his daily runaround ever since.

Remarkably, after three decades and 126,000 miles on the clock, the only major work the motor has ever required has been for a new clutch 20 years ago.

Since then it has been used by Clive, 68, on countless family holidays and days out.
