Unseen pictures from the days of Empire - A British admiral's stunning collection of photos from his time in the Far East have been unearthed after 110 years.
The fascinating photographs were compiled by Admiral Sir Arthur Moore during his service as Commander-in-Chief of the China Station between 1906 and 1908.
They cover Adm Moore's travels by ship and boat in China, Korea and Thailand and his interest in the places and people he encountered.
The locations include scenes along the Yangtze River, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Peking, Shanghai and Seoul.
