A pest controller has snared a monster 21-inch rat - thought to be the biggest one caught in Britain.<br />
<br />
Professional rat-catcher Terry Walker was working with his trusty dog Max, which caught the enormous vermin in his teeth when it bolted from beneath some debris.<br />
<br />
It is believed to be the biggest caught and measured in the UK, meaning Mr Walker has regained the record he lost last year.<br />
<br />
He previously caught a 19-inch beast in January 2017, but another exterminator took his record when he caught a 20in rat last December.<br />
<br />
Mr Walker said rats are getting bigger due to the amount and type of waste people are throwing away and he thinks it will only be a matter of time before someone finds one that is 2ft long.
