Back in the cockpit - the helmet worn by Test Pilot Brian Trubshaw on Concorde's first British test flight.
The space age helmet worn by Concorde test pilot Brian Trubshaw on the first ever UK flight has been reunited with the historic Concorde 002 at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Somerset.
The 50th anniversary of the flight on 9th April 1969 takes place tomorrow (Tuesday) when the Concorde prototype took off from Filton near Bristol with Trubshaw at the controls.
The historic helmet was fitted with an oxygen supply in case of an depressurisation of the supersonic aircraft during testing and has been loaned to the museum by a collector.
