A vintage motorbike dubbed 'Sir Costalot' by its late owner due to the money he spent on keeping it in immaculate condition has sold for £39,000.
The gleaming Vincent Rapide was so well looked after by the motorbike enthusiast that he gave it the affectionate nickname.
He even had a metal plate with the words 'Sir Costalot' fixed onto the steel frame of the machine.
