They may not be everybody's idea of the perfect Christmas treat but Brussels sprouts are proving a festive favourite with animals at Longleat Safari Park.<br />

Monkeys, giraffes and even cockatoos at the Wiltshire wildlife attraction lapped up the controversial vegetable that divides opinion at the Christmas dinner table.<br />
<br />
Keepers decided to get in the festive spirit by giving some of their residents Brussels sprout stalks. They also gave the giraffes Christmas trees grown on the estate's own forestry as extra grazing food.
