Visitors to an English garden attraction can enjoy a Day of the Triffids experience surrounded by these giant 8ft leaves.
The massive Gunnera Manicata leaves are native to Brazil and are big enough for a whole family to shelter under one.
The monster plant, known as a giant rhubarb, grown at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens in Dorset is enjoying a booming year thanks to the early summer heatwave that hit the country in April and May.
The gardens, which enjoys its own micro-climate thanks to its position in a wooded and sheltered valley that leads down towards the sea at Chesil Beach, is also celebrating a rare flower blooming for the first time in five years.
