A Maserati car that belonged to Sir Elton John has sold for £36,000.

The Rocketman star bought the Maserati Quattroporte from new in 2005 and it was sold with memorabilia for his fans.

Included in the sale were a pair of his driving gloves, a letter addressed to ‘Mr John’ and a concierge service card in his name.
