A massive illuminated version of Willie Wonka's Chocolate Factory will welcome visitors to a spectacular Road Dahl-themed festival of light this winter.

Families will be able to walk through the legendary gates, past Charlie and his Grandpa clutching a gold ticket, to experience the wonders in the park.

This year's annual event at Longleat House and Safari Park in Wiltshire is dedicated to the legendary children's author's renowned tales and iconic characters.

Working with The Roald Dahl Story Company, Longleat has created 23 vibrant scenes with more than 800 individual lanterns to narrate Dahl's classic children's tales.
