Pictured: David's version of Van Gogh's Starry Night in an eye of a needle
A collection of micro masterpieces so tiny they fit inside the eye of a needle have sold for a whopping £90,000.
Micro artist David Lindon has recreated iconic artworks including Van Gogh's Starry Night in miniature form - each measuring just 0.5mm wide.
David, who lives in Bournemouth, Dorset, uses a variety of micro-plastics to carve and paint his tiny pieces, with the aid of a microscope, and each one took months of painstaking work to complete.
