Pictured: Kerry Davies, Landlady of the Drax Arms pub in Bere Regis, Dorset who has had to spend her morning painting over the graffiti.
A country pub has been vandalised by anti-racism campaigners over its name's links to the slave trade.
Graffiti saying "Slaver" and "BLM" (Black Lives Matter) was sprayed on the Drax Arms in Bere Regis, Dorset, overnight on Wednesday.
The Grade II listed pub is named after the family of MP Richard Drax, who owns the nearby Drax Estate and whose ancestors were linked to slavery in the Caribbean.
But the family no longer have a link with the pub, which is owned by Hall and Woodhouse Brewery and has been run by tenant Kerry Davies and her family since 2017.
