Hollywood director Guy Ritchie was the unlikely guest of honour at the opening of a community football pitch in a small market town.

The Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels director signed autographs and chatted with parents and children at the unveiling of the £500,000 artificial pitch in Shaftesbury, Dorset.

The local team, Shaftesbury FC, are stocking his 'Gritchie' beer made at his brewery in Ashmore, five miles away.
