A diver has captured amazing footage of thousands of dancing scallops in the sea just off Lyme Regis in Dorset.<br />

The incredible spectacle was captured by marine researcher Emma Sheehan on a dive in Lyme Bay as part of the RETURN project to monitor the bay's reef. <br />

A ban on scallop dredging was introduced at Lyme bay in 2008 and has been credited for the astonishing surge in numbers.
