An incredibly-rare poster that was the forerunner for the famous 'Your Country Wants You' World War One recruitment advert has been discovered. <br />
The poster, featuring Lord Kitchener pointing his finger, was a news stand advert for an edition of the magazine London Opinion in September 1914.<br />
Officials from the War Office spotted it and decided they wanted the same design for their nationwide recruitment campaign for young men to join the army.
