A classic 1965 Ford Lotus Cortina has emerged for auction and is tipped to sell for £55,000.
This sports saloon car was one of the last Mark 1 models to be made before they introduced the Mark 2 in 1966.
Cortinas were hugely successful racing cars in the 1960s with motorsport legend Jim Clark securing many wins in the stylish vehicle.
The powerful 105bhp car with a 1558cc engine was restored at a cost of £15,000 in 2002 and competed in circuit races and hill climbs but more recently has been in storage.
