A collection of wooden post boxes once used in Victorian hotels and statey homes has emerged for sale.
The timber boxes, that come in all shapes and sizes, belong to a collector with an interest in Royal Mail-related items.
He is now downsizing and no longer has room for them.
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it was common for hotels and large houses to have their own post boxes.
The boxes are being sold by Woolley and Wallis Auctuioneers of Salisbury, Wilts.
