Jenan Kazim with an early prototype of the KAZbrella.
Inventor Jenan Kazim is turning world of the humble brollie inside out - after designing one that folds inwards to stop water dripping onto the floor.
Rather than creating pools of rainwater on the floor when it is put away like standard umbrellas, Jenan's clever idea folds the opposite way collecting drips inside it.
And thanks to its canny design which opens from the top rather than the bottom it puts paid to the age-old problem of poking passers-by in the head with brolly spokes.
It also means users can stay dry for longer by putting their umbrellas down once they are sat inside their cars rather than before.
The umbrella, which has been named the KAZbrella, will cost around 45 pounds when it is launched just in time for Britain's notoriously wet winter.
