A rare poster for the first ever Superman film has sold for more than £27,700.
The 41ins by 27ins poster for the 1941 film The Amazing, Startling Superman in technicolor has been described as the 'finest surviving example'.
The animated short film was part of a series based on the iconic DC comic first printed three years earlier.
