A tragic yachtsman was crushed to death under his own boat as he painted its hull, an inquest heard.

Company director Kevin Keeler, 56, was working beneath the 29ft sailing yacht at a boat yard when a metal frame support it was on gave way.

The half-ton vessel toppled onto the father-of-five who suffered devastating and fatal crush injuries including multiple broken ribs, sternum and spine.
