Wealthy homebuyers could own an entire estate of houses as a rehabilitation centre for wounded soldiers has gone on the market - but it is believed to be worth in excess of £30million.

Headley Court near Leatherhead in Surrey has a stunning Grade II listed mansion at the centre of its 82-acre site but also has 56 semi-detached and eight detached houses.

The site has been a home from home for injured military personnel for more than 60 years, but is now looking for a new purpose as the service is moving to the Stanford Hall Estate near Loughborough.

The impressive property portfolio is now being sold by Knight Frank, which says there is no guide price and they are inviting expressions of interest and bids, but locally the site is rumoured to have been valued at more than £30million.
