Art from the Heart...
A morbid self portrait by Pete Doherty of himself and Kate Moss drawn using his own blood has emerged for sale for £5,000.
The Libertines frontman pictured himself with his supermodel then-girlfriend in the artwork which is believed to date from when they were a couple circa 2005.
He gifted it to the current owner before the break-up of his high profile relationship with Moss in 2007. Now, the vendor is selling the crayon and blood portrait with auctioneer Sworders, of Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex.
Moss's head can be made out on the right side of the portrait, which has the inscription 'Ray Heads the son'.
There is also a vase drawn in crayon with a darker figure emerging from it which is thought to represent Doherty.
