A stunning Jaguar that was driven by a swashbuckling RAF pilot at a Monte Carlo Rally has emerged for sale for £450,000.
The SS100 was one of the first Jaguars to be produced and Jack Harrop was quick to buy this beauty in 1936.
The son of a Manchester industrialist had it delivered on December 8 and in less than two months it was making its competitive debut at the 16th Monte Carlo Rally.
He was one of 133 racers and after a steady race he managed to finish thirtieth overall.
