The crystal ball belonging to the late astrologer Mystic Meg has sold for £1,000.

The transparent orb formed part of a collection of items from the estate of the famous fortune-teller that went under the hammer for charity.

These included several of her mesmerising outfits she wore on TV's National Lottery Live.
