The garden of Castle Cottage and its proximity to the sea.
On the beach...
This unassuming bungalow may not look like much from the outside but it's on the market for £750,000 because it has a picturesque beach on its doorstep.
Castle Cottage is a quirky little three-bedroom home that has stunning sea views and leads out directly onto the beach.
The Victorian cottage is in the town of Walmer, near Deal in Kent, where the beach is much quieter than its popular neighbouring tourist spot.
The house was finished in 1883 and is believed to be the first property built on the beach here, originally owned by a shoemaker.
The living room runs the width of the cottage with three large sash windows to enjoy the sea views, with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife including migratory birds, seals and porpoises.
