No hugs for brave Ella this Xmas...
Ella aged eight jumping in the pool with her brother Zac. She can't run or jump now.
Little Ella Murphy might look like a happy child but she is actually battling a rare condition that leaves her in such agony she can't cuddle her mother.
Ella suffers from a neurological disease called Complex Regional Pain Disorder (CPRS) which affects one in 4,000 people per year.
The condition means the schoolgirl is struck down by agonising pain in different parts of her body that can last for months at a time.
Even the slightest touch of the tender area can cause a horrendous burning sensation, meaning her family cannot even hug her if her upper body is affected.
