A full-sized Spitfire memorial commemorating the woman and children who secretly built over 2,000 of them in World War Two has received its annual spring clean.<br />

Workers used a cherry picker to reach the 30ft fibreglass model at Salisbury Rugby Club, Wilts.<br />
<br />
It is a replica of the Spitfire flown by RAF hero Johnnie Johnson who downed 14 German aircraft.
