This is the thrilling moment a bottlenose dolphin performs some aerial acrobatics at a picturesque south coast bay.<br />

The dolphin gets a remarkable amount of height as it projects itself 8ft into the air before splashing down into Weymouth Bay, Dorset.<br />

In the background was the anchored giant 945ft-long British gas tanker, Kmarin Emerald.<br />

The images were taken by local motor boat owner Steve Belasco, who was celebrating his 64th birthday with an outing on the water.
