The order from BCP for the golf club to replace the trees that it felled with similar sized mature specimens.
A prestigious golf club that axed 34 protected trees has been ordered to plant new specimens in their place to compensate for the act of 'environmental vandalism'.
Officials at Parkstone Golf Club in Poole, Dorset, must grow 13 'advanced' specimens of at least 10ft in height in the same spot the mature pine trees once stood.
The club, that counts Harry Redknapp as a member, fell foul of a 56-year-old Tree Preservation Order (TPO) covering the 70ft tall trees when it cut them down in December 2018.
The owners of £1m homes that back on to the course were furious as they said the trees provided shelter from the wind and privacy from golfers playing the 1st and 2nd holes.
