Staff at a quiet seaside tattoo studio were shocked when their latest customers walked in - Zayn Malik and his girlfriend Perrie Edwards.

The One Director singer was visiting the harbour town of Weymouth in Dorset last week and made sure to add to his extensive tattoo collection while he was there.

He asked for a Native American style design in black and grey ink with white highlights which featured the face of a wolf and two beaded feathers.

The tattoo was etched onto his left calf and took around two hours to complete at a cost of 150 pounds.

The 20-year-old pop icon was wearing long grey shorts with a button-down denim shirt and Dr Martens shoes, which he kicked off for his time in the tattooists chair.
