Big game fishing is to return to the UK for the first time in 70 years thanks to the resurgence of giant bluefin tuna off the south west coast.

The government has listened to calls from the angling community and agreed to relax the laws on catching the endangered fish.

Bluefin tuna, which can grow to 700lbs and sell for £1m in Asian markets, have made a stunning return to British waters in recent years.
Their recovery is thought to be linked to an increase in sardines and sprats which they feed on.
