A former lighthouse with 360 degree coastal views has gone on sale for just under £1m.
But its new owner won’t have to worry about changing any lightbulbs as the main tower building, which was built in 1714 on St Anne’s Head near Haverfordwest, Wales, was decommissioned decades ago.
The lighthouse, which is on the market with Purple Brick for £995,000, overlooks the entrance to Milford Haven and was built to warn ships of the rocks in the area.
During World War II it was used as an observation post and has also been a Coastguard headquarters as well as a holiday let.
