Baker, who died in 2021, is credited with creating the Doctor's popular robot dog companion K9 in the 1970s.<br />

One of the scripts is for the 2005 Wallace and Gromit film Curse of the Were Rabbit, which won an Academy Award for best animation feature. Baker also kept hold of his ideas book for the film and a 67 page production script for the 1979 Doctor Who episode Nightmare of Eden, starring Tom Baker as the doctor.
