A one-legged man is aiming to set a new record by spending seven months walking solo around the coast of the UK.
Mark Pattenden, 59, set off from Bournemouth Pier in Dorset on Saturday and is walking more than 6,000 miles unaided around the British coast while pulling 130lbs of equipment.
The amputee is planning to cover a marathon - 26.2 miles - every day for 249 days and expects to finish back at Bournemouth in September.
Mark is pulling a trailer with the tent he will sleep in each night, as well as cooking equipment, photography gear and everything he will need for his mammoth trek.
