A pensioner says he could have been killed after being viciously assaulted by hooligans outside a Premier League football ground.

Derek Borthwick, 87, who uses a walking stick, was pushed over from behind by a man as he left AFC Bournemouth's home game with Newcastle United.

He had blood coming from his forehead and went to hospital with several injuries.
