A man who waited 13 years for a sought-after beach hut is one of 11 owners who will lose their cabins so a new eco education centre can be built.
The 11 privately-owned huts will be demolished to make way for the £2.4m 'Environmental Innovation Hub' which will highlight to visitors the damage caused by plastic pollution.
A row of 8ft by 6ft beach huts that presently stand in the way of the site earmarked for the hub on the prom at Bournemouth, Dorset.
