The former home of Robert Hardy.

The contents of the estate of British acting royalty, the late Robert Hardy, have sold for £80,000.

The sale featured mementos from the legendary actor's most well known theatre, film and TV roles during his 60 year career.

Hardy, who starred as Cornelius Fudge in the Harry Potter films, kept hold of the items until his death aged 91 in August last year.
A cream stetson hat which once belonged to Sir Winston Churchill and was marked with the initials 'WSC' sold for £3,900, while the war-time prime minister's navy and white spotted bow tie achieved £6,000, 10 times its estimate.
