The fascinating archive of black and white images includes views from a bygone age such as Brighton's famous West Pier, Grimsby's burgeoning fishing fleet, and London's dock yards.<br />

Iconic ships were also captured from the skies including the Cutty Sark in its final seaworthy years on the Thames, HMY Britannia in 1959, the RMS Queen Mary in 1946 and the SS Queen Elizabeth in 1969 about to make her maiden voyage.<br />
