A car that has rolled into the sea at Sandbanks has sparked an emergency response.<br />

The black Ford Focus plunged down the slipway that serves the Sandbanks to Studland chain ferry after its owner forgot to apply the handbrake, witnesses have said.<br />

Luckily the female driver was out of the car at the time it went into Poole Harbour.<br />
<br />
The chain ferry - that has carries signs telling motorists to apply their handbrakes - had just left the Sandbanks side when the incident happened.
