Eight first edition James Bond novels signed by Ian Fleming and gifted to the mentor who encouraged him to write them have sold for almost £170,000.
The rare copies were discovered in the 'timewarp' library in the holiday home of the late novelist Paul Gallico.
The eight dust-covered books had lain untouched since his death in 1976 and were uncovered by his family as they prepared to sell the property.
