A water tower has emerged for sale which could earn over £12,000 a year for its buyer because it has a phone mast on it.

Pirton Water Tower, which offers stunning views over the Bedfordshire countryside, is rented out by a telecoms company.

They have installed one mast and three dishes on the 52ft steel structure due to its prime location.

The tower will be auctioned off later this month by auctioneers Robinson & Hall, of Bedford, with a guide price of £190,000.
