Fascinating photographs showing Sir Winston Churchill and other Allied leaders planning for peace after the Second World War have been sold at auction.<br />

The black and white photos show the British wartime prime minister with US President Harry Truman and Russian leader Joseph Stalin at the Potsdam Conference in Germany in July 1945.<br />

It is believed the photos were taken or amassed by William Rigdon, a White House aide to President Truman.
