An artist has created a stunning map of her home country using all the information she has gathered through thousands of walks.
Tess of the Vale's hand-drawn creation is so detailed it records every path, landmark and tree formation she encountered.
She made almost 200 small maps which filled four notebooks before creating a giant, stand-alone 7ft by 5.5ft map.
The 42 year old mother of three has previously worked for the Ministry of Defence drawing Admiralty charts.
The Dorset map of 'hidden treasures' took her a year to make and she hopes it will go 'to a good home'.
