The new Bishop of Salisbury has today been unveiled after getting the Queen's seal of approval.<br />
<br />
The Very Reverend Stephen Lake, Dean of Gloucester, will become the 79th Bishop of Salisbury, Downing Street has confirmed.<br />
<br />
The 58 year old will replace the Right Reverend Nicholas Holtam, 67, who retired last July after holding the position for 10 years.<br />
<br />
Revd Lake, who grew up in Poole, Dorset, was ordained as a priest in 1989, and has been Dean of Gloucester since 2011.
