A remarkable single owner collection of thousands of miniature Dinky, Matchbox and Corgi toy cars has sold for over £100,000.

The middle-aged British enthusiast fell in love with the toys as a child, sparking a lifetime of collecting.

His collection included a rare trade box full of 50 Spanish Dinky toy Ford Fiestas made in the early 1970s.
