The rare five page holiday brochure for the Titanic. 'Cafe Parisien'.
An exceptionally rare holiday brochure for the Titanic has surfaced at auction alongside an intact ticket for the iconic doomed liner's launch.
The fascinating five page booklet was exclusively for potential first class passengers and contains images of some of the ill-fated 'White Star Line' ship's most luxurious quarters.
It is being sold with an equally scarce ticket for the launch of the Titanic in Belfast on May 31, 1911 - 11 months before it hit an iceberg and sank with the loss of 1,522 lives.
The front cover of the brochure is dominated by a picture of the awe-inspiring liner dwarfing other vessels in her midst with the tagline 'the largest steamer in the world'.
