Pictured: One of Jonathan Hodgson's arrows.
A skilled fletcher has set up a business making artistic and competition arrows after being inspired by Lord of the Rings.
Jonathan Hodgson adopts Medieval techniques to fashion them out of sustainable timbers, using precious stones for the arrow head.
The feathers are humanely collected from turkey or geese and bound on with silk in a process which takes several days.
The 37 year old, from Ilminster, Somerset, made his first arrows out of bamboo and slate as a child living in a farmhouse with plenty of land.
