A skilled fletcher has set up a business making artistic and competition arrows after being inspired by Lord of the Rings.<br />

Jonathan Hodgson adopts Medieval techniques to fashion them out of sustainable timbers, using precious stones for the arrow head.<br />

The feathers are humanely collected from turkey or geese and bound on with silk in a process which takes several days.<br />

The 37 year old, from Ilminster, Somerset, made his first arrows out of bamboo and slate as a child living in a farmhouse with plenty of land.
