An early architect's model that was used to attract global banking giants to Canary Wharf has emerged for sale at auction for £1,000.
The scaled down replica was commissioned in 1988 when the building process was just getting underway and used by agents hunting for tenants.
It closely resembles the iconic financial sector we know today with One Canada Square - Britain's tallest building when it opened - clearly visible.
The model comes in a clear perspex case and was made on behalf of Olympia & York, who were the original developers of the site.
